Limping pug off to vet

Message from my mum: Last night, Jesse developed a bit of a limp and was holding her back right leg a little off the ground as she walked. It later turned into more of a hobble, and this morning she was walking on only three legs. We couldn't attribute the pain to any particular incident.
Off to the Annandale Animal Hospital early this morning in the hope of getting in to see a vet first up. Close. We were second to some guy who also rocked up without an appointment to get his dog his annual injection.
The vet spent a decent amount of time going over Jesse and checking her foot pads, between her 'toes', knees, and hip. Jesse winced most when he flexed her foot, and poked into her knee.
The vet concluded it was likely a ligament sprain and that NO going out for 1 week, and NO off-leash for 1 MONTH. He gave her an injection for inflammation, and an oral version of the stuff to place on her food over the coming week.
No pug meet-up for Jesse next Saturday, no daily play times with her friends Ella, Charlie, and Bailey, and no more walks for a while. Just staying home with mum and dad. Booooring!
