Cut!

This is my director's chair. Sometimes I sit on it.

Sometimes I sit next to it.

How I get to sit on mummy's lap

Whenever mummy is working at the computer and I want to sit on her lap, this is what I do. First, I sit next to her staring up with my big adorable eyes.

When that doesn't work, I jump up on my back legs and give mummy my sad little face. "Please, please, pick me up mummy so that I can sit in your lap!"

But mummy can't really type when she's holding me, so she found this director's chair for me and placed it next to her chair.

Cool, I can sleep like a baby up here.

At the local

One grey day, I went to the park. Mummy tooks these shots on a Nikon camera she was testing. I got to see my first double rainbow!

Big head

Mummy loves taking these photos that make my head look really big.

Me and my steak

I love my toy steak. I've had it for ages and never really got into it. Then I rediscovered it one day and chewed it non-stop until I wrecked the squeaky thing inside. Still like playing with it, though.

I'm just a little dog

I sometimes forget that I'm just a little dog. I have some very big friends!

Come one, come all

After an article about our monthly pug meet-up appeared in Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper, we had in an influx of new pugs at our most recent gathering in early February. Almost 30 pugs came along to join the madness.

I spent a lot of time jumping on this guy. He was very good-natured about it all, really.

I also had a bit of a play with Quincy, a four-month old black pug.

But the biggest hit of the day was Louis, a 7-week old pug. Everyone wanted to get their hands on the baby!

Year of the Dog

Over the weekend, mummy and daddy had a big Chinese New Year party.
This year is the Year of the Dog, so really it was a party for me!

This is me in my little Chinese New Year outfit made for me by yiayia (grandma) but it's a bit big. Some adjustments will be necessary.

I later switched into my security uniform to stop riff-raff from entering the premises.

Happy New Year

A happy new year to all pugs and their owners.

May the pug angel look over you all.

Christmas at Yiayia's

I spent Christmas morning at Yiayia's (that's 'grandma' for all you non-Greek speaking types).

I unwrapped presents then rolled around in all the wrapping paper. Loads of fun!

Mummy and daddy bought me a huge red cushion for Christmas. I love to lie on it in the sun... or just stand next to it.

And so this is (my second) Christmas

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Quick nap

Christmas is coming....ho hum. All the excitement has left me exhausted. I need a nap.

Puggy Christmas party

This is me sitting on Santa's knee at our December pug meet-up Christmas party. I told Santa I wanted a little brother or sister for Christmas, but daddy says Santa doesn't get a say in that. Here's a group shot of some of the pugs and their humans in attendance.

Star diamond

I call this toy my 'star diamond'. It has six points and each contains a squeaky toy. It makes a noise when I bite it. It's soft and fluffy and I like to use it as a pillow sometimes.

Uncle Kon

This is me with my Uncle Kon. I don't know why he's holding me like I'm a baby with a stinky nappy.

He taught me everything I know about stealing thongs. This is me in training.

I'm such a pro now, I run off with thongs all the time!

Sock thief

I'm older and I should know better, but I've recently discovered that I can yank socks off people's feet. It takes me a while, but I keep tugging until it comes off. Then I run, of course!

The window sill

When I was little, I could fall asleep on the window sill, but now I don't fit anymore.

Grown-ups party

On the weekend, I went to a grown-ups party. I was the littlest one there so I had to keep looking up at everyone. There were lots of kids there that chased me around and kept calling my name. I had a bit of a headache by the end of night, but I slept like a baby when I got home.

Christmas collar

This is my new Christmas collar. It features 62 silver-plated mini baubles on the edges, seven sterling silver stars, and eight sets of leaf and berry glass beads.

All beads were hand-stitched on by mummy in a 5-hour sewing marathon.

It looks so pretty, don't you think? I will have the prettiest collar on Christmas day!

Cheeky pugger

This probably looks like a pretty strange picture. If you can't work out what it is, it's me jumping on mummy's back when she's lying down and ripping the elastic out of her ponytail.

Sometimes mummy laughs and pretends to get mad. Other times she screams because I'm probably pulling some of her hair out at the same time.

Once I get the elastic, I run for my life.

I take it to bed and chew on it.

Why are you looking at me?

Did I do something wrong?

Mummy calls me a cheeky little pugger!

Munching on thongs

My Uncle Kon taught me a great trick. I steal thongs off people's feet!

I grab them, pull on them, and then run. I sit in a corner and munch on them until the owner comes looking for me. Then we play chasings, but I'm smaller and can move quicker, even with a big thong in my mouth!

Last Christmas

This time last year, I was less than four months old. As you can imagine, I was mostly uncontrollable and over-excited - which made having a Christmas tree lots of fun!

When the tree first went up, I worked out that I could munch on the branches and run off with the decorations. So mum and dad got this fence to put around the tree. As if that was going to stop me! Through trial and error, I discovered that if I pushed hard enough, I could get UNDER the fence.

So mum and dad threw a couple of wooden stools in there to hold it up. Did it work? Of course not. I could still get under... only there was a problem. I couldn't work out how to get back out! I would jump up on the fence and make whiny noises until someone came and let me out.

I wonder what will happen this Christmas...
